Central America, Guatemala
We have been so blessed to be on this journey in Guatemala over the past 5+ years. What started out as a two-week trip, turned into a one-year trip, which turned into an indefinite time period for our family here in the highlands of Guatemala. While we never envisioned ourselves as missionaries, we find ourselves here, overseas, serving the Lord, and so grateful to be a part of what the Lord is doing.
For the past three years, we have been serving at the Inter-American School (www.ias-xela.org) in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala (the second largest city in the country), where Trevor serves as the secondary principal, Stephanie serves as a math & physics teacher, and our six children go to school. We are continuing to strengthen our language skills, build relationships with students, staff, families, and community members, teach the Word of God in classrooms, churches, Bible studies, and our home, and respond to crises and needs among our neighbors here. We long to see the school and surrounding community transformed by the power of Jesus Christ and the truth of the gospel, and for Him to receive all the glory.
This page is not a solicitation for funds, but rather an avenue for those who have it in their hearts to give. Throughout this journey, we have never asked anyone for financial support, and yet the Lord has always provided for everything we need – and oftentimes miraculously. He is so faithful, and we are so grateful for the ministry of the Widows & Orphans Network.
