In 1999, Haven Ranch in Keller, Texas was established as the first pilot location, of many ranches to follow.
These properties are now exclusively dedicated to the support of single parent families and ministries all around the world. Ranch day, powered by Pure Religion, is a global movement, that’s only just begun!
The kids always love a hay ride. And then we hit up fishing and ice skating today. Normally we do horseback riding.
We love the free garage sales, it’s a little bit of everything!
It was just a really good opportunity for the boys and I to to be blessed and have some fun family time together.
The face paints, I love having this time to share with my son and just give him a break from all of the worries and he gets to come out here and just have fun and be a kid.
I came with the church but I have a servant’s heart. I like to put my hands to the task and so I come every month and its a blessing both ways.
I like the people and the environment here. I feel like I’m serving they also serve me because I get full from God’s word just by being here.
I joined many years ago, being part of this community, supporting orphans and widows, has been so fulfilling. I remember Chuck suggesting we hold a garage sale, and soon donations started pouring in. The best part is seeing the kids’ smiles.
This is my third or fourth time working with the kids and Seeing the smiles on their face. Mostly just a good time all around. I can’t think of a downside on this and I’m glad to be a part of it.
